Douglas County Republican Headquarters Vandalized

Sometime between the evening of Tuesday, May 5th, and the early morning hours on Wednesday, May 6th, our County Republican Party Headquarters were vandalized. In addition to cracking or shattering five of the headquarters' windows and damaging equipment inside of office, the vandals spray-painted the message "Kill Trump" towards our President, which could be a violation of federal law.  Law enforcement, including the U.S. Secret Service, is on the case.

This is the fourth time in 6 months that our office has been vandalized and, this time, repairs are estimated to total approximately $5,000 dollars.  We are hopeful that the state is beginning to open up again soon and feel it is important to be available to voters who want to learn more about the Republicans and candidates here in Douglas County, as well at the state and national levels.

Due to the pandemic and its severe impact on the economy and on our ability to hold fundraising events, donations have been very limited so far this year.  Therefore, we need to ask for your help in covering the cost of repairing the damage that has been done.  Please be as generous as you can and any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Also, don't hesitate to contact us if you need assistance donating or if should you have any questions about what happened or any other questions about the county party, the important issues this election, and our candidates. Just call: 541-673-5057
